JUST as the master plans generated from the summer 2012 visioning sessions head out the door for public review, it’s time to start anew! The City of Manistee was the 16th and final community to join the Lakes to Land Regional Initiative, arriving with a master plan in place. That 2002 plan is now getting an update, and all citizens are encouraged to make their voices heard on Thursday, November 21, at City Hall (70 Maple Street). The workshop-style session offers an opportunity for you and your neighbors to share your insights and recommendations with regard to the City of Manistee’s future. The results are then used to formulate the City’s goals and strategies for the next 15 to 20 years. We hope to see lots of you there!
Just can’t make it? A follow-up survey will be conducted for a several-week period in December and January, and the link and announcement will be available here.
